Our fabulous park won Project of the Year at the 2013 ULI Awards of Excellence last Thursday. Congratulations to the park and all involved in making it such an exceptional space!
Thanks very much to Astra and HDR for hosting me at the Development Team table along with representatives from Atlanta BeltLine and City Parks and Watershed Departments. Also, thanks to our fellow board members from North American Properties and Jamestown for hosting Conservancy board members at their tables.
I especially want to recognize and thank Steven Jackson for helping film the footage used to create the “home video” ULI produced for the awards dinner. And thanks to the co-stars Forrest, Markham and Fred for your time making it. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties (on their end!), the video didn’t air at the event, but it is now posted online and linked below for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
